In The Beginning...
Radcliffe made his acting debut at age ten in BBC One's 1999 television movie David Copperfield, followed by his film debut in 2001's The Tailor of Panama.
Chris Columbus and David Heyman they search for a young British actor to play the character of   most successful phenomenon: Harry Potter novel.Chris Columbus and David Heyman saw daniel and they thought 'He could be Harry Potter.' david heyman offered his parents to let him audition for harry potter.but his parents refused this offered,David again meeting with his parents to change their mind and letting him an audition..
one night his dad came in and told him he'd got the part of Harry Potter. he cried, he was so happy. he woke up in the middle of the night, around half two, and he woke up his dad too, just to check with him that it wasn't all a dream. That he really was going to be Harry Potter."

Potter author Joanne (JK) Rowling gave Dan her seal of approval - when she saw Dan's screen test, she claimed that she felt that "it was like being reunited with [her] long-lost son":

Production of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone" began in September 2000. It was released on 16th November 2001 and it going on to become the second-highest grossing film of all time, behind "Titanic".then  A star was born  ,a wonderful Harry... young Radcliffe is perfect as Harry... seems to have been born to play the part...". and he starred acting in the series for ten years until the release of the eighth and final film in July 2011.

and then he played lead role in some another movie like the women in black (2012) Kill Your Darlings (2013).Horns (filming)..............................
